We understand that many parents are curious as to why their seemingly bright child is unable to put their thoughts onto paper, have difficulties in reading or short term memory problems. 10% of the population suffer from dyslexic tendencies, with 4% of these having severe problems. Here at Neath Valley Dyslexia tuition we offer a straight forward assessment using the latest dyslexia screening software.The screening involves three enjoyable and non threatening tests that are sensitive cognitive indicators of Dyslexia. Each screening component has been standardised, validated and calibrated to maximise accuracy in detection of dyslexia and help prevent dyslexic children slipping through the net. The package will also include an assessment using the Aston index to give an accurate chronological reading and writing age and a colour filter eye test. You will receive the results in writing, written in clear easy to understand text.
