We are the newest branch of the ever expanding IDL network. IDL have an international network of centers stretching as far as Australia (you can view the network here). We offer a multi-sensory computer based program to help alleviate problems associated with reading writing and spelling problems. Our interest in the program stems from our son who was diagnosed with severe dyslexia aged seven and our younger son who is diagnosed with autism. As a result we tried several different tutors and programs until we came across IDL, within a very short time our older sons reading ability was raised ,his hand writing improved along with his self-esteem. Impressed with his progress on the system we looked closer at the methodology behind IDL and found that it helped a wide range of people with literacy problems not only those with Dyslexia we therefore enrolled our younger son too and he also has made good progress. This inspired us to open our own centre to help both children and adults over come there difficulties and raise their self-esteem.
